Creator Spotlight: Rich Koslowski

The main story in the one-shot Zombies vs Cheerleaders Geektacular #1 features The 3 Geeks, an indie cult favorite by Rich Koslowski. The 3 Geeks was a self-published comic from Rich’s 3 Finger Prints back in the late 1990′s and then went on to be an ongoing series called Geeksville that was published by Image. These characters are hilarious, true comic book geeks that most comic book readers can associate with. Having Rich bring them to ZvC was awesome. The 3 Geeks was an Eisner nominated series, and rightly so. I highly suggest you head to www.richkoslowski.com and pick up some trades to get caught up.

Rich is also one of the primary inkers at Archie Comics. He publishes a graphic novel here and there, The King being my favorite. The guy is uber-talented.

Zombies vs Cheerleaders

So far we have published three issues of ZvC and there have been folks clamoring for a way that the fans (all six of them) can keep up with all things ZvC. Well, here it is, the free WordPress blog. Only the best.

ZvC is produced by 5FINITY Productions and published by Moonstone. We release a new issue every quarter or so. The series is an anthology about, well, zombies versus cheerleaders. Edited by Steven L. Frank (who?), tons of awesome writers and artists collaborate to churn out some nifty stories. Plus, our covers are hot.

ZvC #2 just came out last week. Ask your local comic shop to carry them or you can find issues on eBay. Contact us directly, too, for signed copies.

Each issue features five covers. It breaks down like this: Cover A is 50% of the print run, while Covers B and C are 20% each. Cover D, the virgin variant cover, is only 10% of the print run and Cover E is the Ultra Rare Variant, limited to 200 or less copies. So, a comic shop has to order ten copies just to get one Cover D. Each issue has a sketch friendly back cover so your favorite artists (or your kids, whatever) can sketch on it.

Well, direct all of your ZvC questions, comments or death threats to zvc@5finity.com.
